I have continued my preparation for my mental health run over the weekend.
On Saturday I did a 10K run around my village, the time was a bit slower than my average, but the run wasn’t about the timing. This was about getting in the distance I will be doing for the event. For the event I am not running for speed.
My body was more tired on Saturday than I had expected so the run was quite a challenge. I toned down the intensity on Sunday for a very steady three mile walk. This helped keep my legs moving but didn’t add much extra strain.
My training plan is still on track. Its now the final stretch to the event.
