Midweek Blog and Round Up

on

Hello All

I hope you are having a good week. It a very busy week for me, a lot is going off in and out of work at the moment.

I’ve been spending a lot of time planning of late.  Planning out work in my new job, planning out training and work for the positivity wellbeing group as well as for our website.  I have also been planning travel and holidays too – something I’ve not done in a while.

Having positive events to look forward to is great for my wellbeing.  However, the latest round of holiday planning has been to delay my trip to Malta for yet another year, but I know I will look forward to trip when it finally happened.  I originally booked the trip for April 2020 and booked it in summer 2019!

I’m cautiously planning some trips for early summer in the UK, whilst taking advantage of free cancellation offers. I know travel is not high on many people’s agendas, but I mention it to highlight the positives of having things to look forward to, what ever form that may come for you.

Thinking about the future in a positive way can often be daunting, future thinking brings a lot of people to a place of fear. Fear of the unknown.  I can fall into the place sometimes too, so for me having a positive event to look forward to can be really comforting.
