Hello Everyone
Happy Wednesday – I hope you are having a good week. We are at the half way point, the weekend is getting closer. Although I really do love my weekends, I also try to live in the week too. It can be a little harder with all the complexities of life, work, commitments etc, but the week days are very much part of my life too. I’ve been trying to make sure I get in some “me time” throughout the week, not just on the weekends.
I just had a long weekend to take a break from work after a busy few weeks. I spent time exercising doing both my fastest and longest run for nearly two months and relaxing doing fun things. I largely took a break from the online world too.
I hope you are finding time to do fun things on weekdays too.
I just wanted to highlight two dates coming up. Tomorrow, 18 March, is My Whole Self day – a brilliant campaign from Mental Health First Aid England, which encourages us to bring our whole selves to work, whilst also recognising we don’t always have the full picture of another person’s circumstances.
Friday 19 March is World Sleep Day. I’ll hopefully have some articles and content on sleep on Friday, but do checkout other resources online – there are lots of things going on this Friday. I also believe comic relief is this Friday in the UK, if that is of interest to you.
