That is a lyric from one of my favourite songs – Better Days by OneRepublic. It also inspired the name of our website.

2021 is coming to a close, shortly we will be at the start of a new year. I am writing this on New Year’s Eve.

 2021 has been a difficult year for many people, as the pandemic continues to dominate our lives. For better or worse this year is ending. Tomorrow is a new day.

I do believe better days are ahead for us. Life is supposed to be messy, so somedays will be better than others. If you aren’t doing so well today, that is OK too.

I don’t feel I have anything profound to say today. I am looking after my own wellbeing by spending the weekend in Scarborough. I wrote this short blog from a bench overlooking the South Bay of Scarborough.

I just want to finish by wishing you a safe and peaceful weekend. And if you are celebrating this evening, happy new year.
