Midweek: Blog and Round Up: 7 April 2021

Hello Everyone

Happy Wednesday 😊

I had an enjoyable long weekend, with a trip to the coast, then a few days spent at home relaxing, exercising and sorting a few jobs too.  I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.

I’ve got quite a busy month ahead, and lots on the agenda both in work and out. I was particularly boosted by the news the next phase of the exit from lockdown will be going ahead as planned. I am also conscious that we all have different reactions to such steps too.

I can completely understand there is also fear and anxiety for some of us about the emergence from lockdown.  I am not going to get into the pros and cons of handling a pandemic, I am going to keep the message simple on this topic.  There are plenty of support resources available, including the Samaritans, mental health first aiders and other groups too.

Please do not feel you need to endure this alone.  We are all in this together, and mental health is interconnected with physical health.  If the emergence from lockdown is particularly triggering, please do reach out to support resources.

You can call the Samaritans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Their number is 116 123.

Thank you for reading. Have a great week.
