Dealing with uncertainty

Change happens, change is constant and it is rare we can stop change, particularly if it is not a change we have any control over. Change impacts all aspects of life. How we deal with change is more in the scope of our control.

Change leads often to a feeling of uncertainty, which can be a very unsettling thing to deal with. For me, I find medical uncertainty to be particularly unsettling, often when I’ve got a check up or awaiting a test result. Its nothing I have any control over, it has to happen but its very unsettling dealing with that uncertainty. That’s just my personal example, but I am sure we all have experienced the unsettling uncertain feeling at times.

I’ve read a great article with some useful tips over at vox.com, which is focused on covid uncertainty in particular, but is well worth a read
