I often talk about how I practice escapism on a regular basis. It often comes in the literal sense of getting away from work or home to another place, to give my mind and body a change of location. I’m about to practice this as a holiday to Majorca.
Other forms of escapism are to do creative things, exercise or losing yourself in activities such as reading or tv.
I’ve recently read an interesting article that combines escapism with relaxation. Its the concept of extreme sitting. This involves escaping to a location (away from home and work) and then sitting, taking in the view and being in the moment.
