Its easy to focus on negative thoughts.
We all have negative thoughts from time to time
It is important to remember our thoughts are not facts
Thought modification is the process to writing down our negative thoughts and redrafting them into positives

Have you ever just considered saying No?
- Such a short word, often viewed as a negative, yet it has such a lot of power.
- Saying no may seems scary, but you only have so much capacity
- Do not be afraid to say no
- You do not have to volunteer for everything

Rank the importance of each element, and note if this is mandatory or not
About Time – The Review
Now we have completed the first template and focussed on what we want to achieve, we now need to explore our routines, habits and activities.
Template Two Guidance
- Complete the template with your schedule – which should include approximate timings that you do things
- If you have common habits and have times you tend to do these, include them within the template. This is really important for stage two
- Try to complete this as fully as possible – including weekend activities, sleep and rest times.
- If you work similar hours on any given day, include this.
About Time – The Plan

We now need to look at our schedule – where can we build in time for those things we want to achieve?

Refer to templates one and two to complete the final section of the About Time tool.

Build the plan using pockets of time, ensuring productive nothing time is also blocked out.
Stage Three
Activity
Refer to the list of goals and priorities in template one, and to your schedule in template two.
Use template three to create your plan by adding in pockets of time to support your goals and priorities

We are only going to spend a few minutes trying this today, I recommend using a pocket of time to follow up and complete your About Time plan.

Following up and the future:

Start to build the habit of reviewing your plan and refining it.

The about time plan is presented “as is.” I would encourage you to adapt or change it to suit your requirements

You could also complete these actions in your own journal or planner.

Life is supposed to be messy, you might not always get things right.

Do not beat yourself up, rest your restart your plans.
