I wanted to share an interesting article from Calm (the wellbeing app) about reinventing yourself. In a world that is constantly changing, you might wish to make some changes into your life too. Change can be difficult to deal with, and sometimes it can be stressful too.
The article from Calm gives some suggestions on make changes in a mindful way. I do like to note that I don’t believe in making changes for the sake of it, sometimes we are right where we are supposed to be with our circumstances and goals.
Here is an extract from the article:
“In a constantly changing world, the ability to adapt and evolve is more valuable than ever. Whether it’s driven by a change in circumstances, an inner yearning, or simply the desire to shake things up, reinvention can be your way of taking charge. It’s the opportunity to gain a clearer view and a renewed sense of purpose.
The circumstances under which you might consider shaking things up in your life are personal to each individual and it’s not a one size fits all situation. In many instances in life, it may be wiser to lean into acceptance. Also if you notice repeated desires to reinvent yourself, you’ll want to be mindful of possible high-functioning anxiety or perfectionistic tendencies.”
